Every pair is cut, sewn, and washed in a family-owned factory east of downtown. They have been in denim their whole working lives. All under the same roof, all under the same watchful eye.

One roll of denim at a time.
Each batch is built around a single fabric, a selvedge roll, chosen for what it does rather than where it comes from. The first batches are Japanese selvedge, woven on shuttle looms as you'd expect.
Some batches will leave the factory raw, a half-size large, and entirely yours to break in. Others will be desized or washed before they ship. Every batch names its mill, its weight, and processing, and when the roll ends that batch is finished. On to the next, but always in very limited quantities.
